Eve was found fully exhausted at the asylum for homeless animals. Weak body whith a lot of pincers and fleas, half paralysed hind legs… What could happen to a young dog of 7-8 months life? That was an ordinary story: Eve`s owners weren`t ready to fight for dog`s health and left it to the mercy of fate.
…" I was lying under scorching heat and thought of nothing. I was very thirsty. I didn`t have any forces to show. I aws alive. Suddenly I heard some voices and barked as loud as I could…"
Exhausted dying Eve was found by the employers of asylum. It was visited by people who needed a dog for guard. They weren`t confused by that fact that the god-girl needed serious cure and rehabilitation. Piroplasmos, disproportion, could (in the head), kidneys, pneumotorax, involuntares urination: this is the list of diagnoses. The noble and grateful animal was punished for unknown sins…
" At first, I was afraid of stretched hand… I compressed…I couldn`t believe in caress… I was ready to do everything in gratitude for kidness: fulfilling commamds, wagging, carrying the ball.Unfortunately, my legs couldn`t obey me and I hardly moved.."
The doctor couldn`t definethe main problem whith the hind legs. It was the dislocation of knee,break of ligament, infringement of nerve in the small of the back. During the operation 4 artificial joints were implanted. Eve needs a long course of rehabilitation. The doctors recommend the course of swimming for Eve and a special training to develop the muscles of hind legs.
"…It`s pleasant to feel myself healthy and good. I`m addiny my weigth to 9 kg, my coat is nice and I can move quickly enough. My greatest happiness is to have a master and home. How nice to put a head on his knees and feel his kindness!"
It`s time for "the happy end"…but… Eve does`t know yet that its master`s forces are exhausting. Perhaps,it`s necessary to be very, very kind and very selfless to bear the responsibility…
"…I know, I will run and jump . The whole day in the meantime, my legs won`t be tired. I`ll defend my master in any circumstances. I`ll truly love my masret and his children and carry them on my back to my last sigh…"
